I FOUND IT! As everyone predicted, after I bought the pattern, after I ransacked the house, after I checked the trash, and after I gave up hope of finding it.

Apparently I had a moment of either sanity or insanity before I left for NJ, and put it away. I found it today while I was looking for fabrics in the same color way to make it from my stash!

I'm quite certain "a Safe Place" is bursting at the seams, because that's where all my missing stuff is too. Not only do I put stuff there, but hubby does as well. If you find it first, please send my stuff home - if I find it first, I'll send you yours!

It will turn up. It's just having a little holiday somewhere. Last year I pulled my whole sewing room to pieces looking for some binding I had cut ready to finish a quilt. Didn't find the binding, but found heaps of other interesting stuff. Eventually the binding turned up in a cupboard in another room, where I'd carefully placed it so I'd have it to hand when I needed it!! After all that, the binding didn't suit anyway, and I was off to the shop to find something else. Be patient, your kit will appear again when it's ready. Something to look forward to.
