Sorry about the double post. ooops

It takes about 3 1/2 to 4 hours to get there from here. We are just across the river from Detroit so it is quite a long ride but we talk so much the time just flies.
There is some new law in Canada about how long the driver can be at the wheel so we only go for the day. I wish we could put together an overnight trip. I'd be first in line to sign up. It's ok though. any time in Shipshewana is good time.

LOL you're right! I really laughed when I saw that one - about 80 die cut triangles - I thought the price was right especially on sale!

I'm having the hardest time lately sewing. GEEZZZ. I started making this 5" square top and I got the last row sewed last night..WELL...One of my rows I put the block the wrong wayyyy. Now I have to take it apart and fix it. I seem to be doing more ripping then anything lately. Then I also realized I put the strips the wrong way too..but that I can live with.

The triangles are called turnovers, although I haven't seen them often or in all the collections. I am jealous of all you who live close to these neat shows, classes, etc. I love living in a small town in the middle of nowhere most of the time, but it does limit my exposure to all this great stuff! TG for the internet!

Sorry to hear this. This pattern is quick and easy but it is very easy to mix up your blocks. Take a look at it. Maybe it doesn't matter!

Yes...It was a quick and easy pattern...But..No it did matter and I had to fix it....Just finished it. I don't like the 1st border but I'm not fixing it. I'm gonna give this to the Project Linus Charity. I did use my scraps for this.

I like it! Yes, this pattern is quick and perfect for Project Linus as well as baby quilts.

Thanks for sharing the photo. I am going to save the photo to use when I give the next lecture on this if that is okay.

What is the name of this pattern? Or does it have one? Very cute quilt! I like it.
