What a good thing for the store owner to do. Guess she made a friend and good customer. I love to look at some one else scraps and wonder what they were making.

I made 2 quilts for them. Too bad postage is so costly.
I think I'll just keep sewing quilts for local organisations.

Wow! Great Happiness!
My friends save their little scraps for me. It is like free fabric.I used to through away any thing under an inch. One charity member told me to sew all the little scraps together and then use a six or four inch template to square them into a block. I was told that srcappy quilts were of every color, every which way. Every time I sew I put a few scraps together. This way the scraps don't over whelm me and soon I will have enough scrap squares to make a quilt. I was told that this was called a crumble block. It is fun and I can give back.
Christina Happy Sewing!

Christina,
I love making crumb blocks! I just finished a lap sized crumb quilt a month ago and it was so much fun.

your post made me smile. you are asking fabriholics and quilting maniacs if you are insane? the first step is admitting you have a problem. you don't have a problem! plus last i checked there is not a 12 step program for quilters. so, enjoy your scraps! you can always make doll quilts & practice techniques on small size quilts. have fun!
