[quote=katesnannaIf you go to usafoods.com.au and search freezer paper you can buy a roll for $9.99 plus postage. Hope this helps. They are a Melbourne Company.[/quote]

Thanks for the great tip, especially for Melbournians [they have a shop front in Moorabbin]. Much cheaper to buy by the roll.

Would baking parchment work in a pinch... if you couldn't get butcher paper?

Janice and all you "down Under" gals, our son married a girl from Australia, they live in Cooroy. I would contact Reynolds the company that makes the freezer paper. Try Reynoldskitchen.com and go to the "Contact Us" Plead your case, if you scroll down you'll find a place for comments etc. Perhaps you can get them to send some to you or at least contact a store there that would be willing to carry it. GOOD LUCK, peterparley

But just think how LONG a roll will last. You won't be wrapping meat or anything, just using it in small pieces at a time. Just call it an "investment."

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions and to those who offered to send me some paper. I was in Spotlight today and asked and yes, they had it! So I bought some :)
Now I just need a project to use it on..lol.

Hi Karinda...does the baking paper stick to the fabric when ironed? I didn't think it did..not that I've tried it, just going by what everyone said. :)
Not that it matters now I've bought mine, but I'm curious :)
