A beautiful, darling little girl. The quilt is also precious. You are a dear lady to make this for her. Sounds as if it was theraputic for you as well. Could just love and love on this darling little girl.

I'm impressed both with your generosity and your lovely quilt. She will treasure it.

I had to look up what a 10-minute block was and they look . I've only been quilting for a year. I saw the Sue Fish had made one, and ours look the same. Adding the extra block between the lattice was a little tricky, but I felt it was needed. Free-motion stippling/quilting is a pain on this due to the 3D part.

I joined a horizontal row of blocks with the white sashing, but left the lower edges un-sewn and treated them like a HUGE block. It was a LOT of trial and error. Basting and my seam ripper were my friends. I've included a link to my blog that illustrates what I did. I'm terrible about explaining it!

I know the Lord will so reward you in the right time. I must say I had tears, reading of your love. So often we reach out to do and help and it seems things are going wrong. That is when we reach deep down within and pull more of He who is always waiting just to be asked. So glad you did that and didn't give up. (((hugs)) and the little girl is a doll. Many Blessings
