If these were put in bags and offered in the quilt shop.....Would you buy it. It is all good first quality fabric. One card had 5 pieces on it ranging from smallest about 12" up to almost full width x 12"
I made this cover from those
And made the vest also from another line

Sometimes our LQS sells them individually, not in bags. Prices vary depending on how large and how many pieces are in the set. They also offer some of them free to volunteers who make charity quilts there. I love using them and when the price is right I do buy them.

Our LQS used to have these for sale for a very reasonable price and I used to buy them all the time. When I bought them, they were all stapled to the cardboard top. They were great.

I think selling by the bag will not work as people might not like everything in it unless it is from the same line and it matches.
Pay it forward: Take what you like out of it and pass it on.

I did the same with drapery samples. I pulled the book apart and cut off the stapled/glued side. I sorted all of the pieces into 100% cotton and cotton/poly or cotton/linen. I made a beautiful scrappy quilt with the 100% cotton. Used a beige lightweight denim as my blender.

There's a little sentimentality to this story. The book had been given to me by a cousin who owned an interior design shop. He passed away so after the quilt was finished, I gave it to his younger brother. He treasures it.

This is such a great idea. I have just started quilting and have no stash.
