Facebook vs Quilting Board
#63
Don't use facebook. I don't have the time. I found that once you get started on facebook it took a lot of time to keep up with it. So I stopped.
But I could say the same about this place, but I love it here. I don't worry about my information getting hijacked here either.

FB is a pain. I am on it but dislike all of the chickens, ducks, etc sent to me. I don't do virtual farm, nor send candy or volunteer for all of those mysterious charities. I don't have time for it, I'm very busy, on QB.

Same here, although I have members of this board on Facebook. I originally used facebook so I could just get family pictures, and next thing I knew I have way to many people on it. I do check it daily. But am on here 99% of the time. Don't even get my quilting done because of it. Trying to withdrawl a little from here, but just can't do it. I'm addicted!

I also don't need to know when everyone I know takes a breath or wipes their behind. This social media thing has gotten to be human to human voyerism and big brother all rolled into one. It's just gotten way out of hand and quite ridiculous.
