If it's not too late, I like the idea of white or WOW sashing. Maybe the WOW could be with a butterfly pattern. Then the blocks would stand out and the white would work with the pretty backing.

I think the purple makes the blocks stand out more than the pink.

Although purple is my favorite color, I'm voting for the pink sashing here. It makes the blocks rock!

I agree. I love to work with 3 borders. Guess that's my asymmetrical side. I would make the purple no larger than one inch, then two and whatever for the last border.
