I have a question unrelated to the boom, If you ladies don't mind. If someone told you they were collecting 'neutrals' what would come to mind for you??

Anything solid, tonal, or with backgrounds that are white, cream, light tan, sometimes gray... no color. There can be color on the print, just as long as the background is neutral. Then it will read as a neutral. These are sometimes referred to as "low volume" too.

Jaba that is pure cuteness there. I bet by the time you go back north she will still be small enough to hide and smuggle. lol Marietta, 99% of the time in the quilting world Sewbiz's answer is correct for what quilters consider neutral, I also include black, brown, green, but I am not normal.

Thanks ladies, I'm a little prejudice but we think she's pretty special. I'd sure smuggle her home if I thought I'd have a chance at that. Think they are coming to Wyoming for the 4th of July if that works out, hope so her b-day is the 31st of July.
Marietta this is an example of what I consider neutrals

I have a question for the group: I would like to do a pineapple block with one of the F8's but am not sure I'll have enough fabric. I certainly don't want to slice up the fabric only to find out I don't have enough!! Has anyone made a 12 1/2" pineapple from a F8? I'm thinking of cutting 1 1/2" strips???

Thanks everyone, that's what I consider neutrals also.

Kass what cuties the baby chicks are. And 'normal' is only the setting on a dryer.

Great blocks sewbizgirl, Really like Molly's

Jaba, Myla is just adorable.
