Well, I got two more rows done on Glory. I think I only need 2, maybe 3, more to finish. Then bind, then she will be done, DONE, DONE!!!!

retiredteacher, you have really made me want to "fix" my Dresden Plate as my next UFO finish! Yours is just lovely!!
Sandy, there's no such thing as "only a panel". I love using panels, they can give those of us who are applique-challenged the LOOK of applique.

I got up early this morning, and went to vote in the primary. Then spent the next 8 hours cutting/splitting/hauling firewood. I finally got to spend a little time quilting (hence the two rows on Glory today). I'm hoping to finish her tomorrow, and maybe even knock out the wall-hanging sized Lone Star. That would get us pretty darn close to 100.

Does #100 get a prize?!?

Well, I was hoping I might be 100, but looks like this is probably #96
This poor UFO has been hanging out in my "to be quilted" pile since May 2012. I originally made this quilt in 2011, but decided I wanted to publish the pattern so I made it 2 more times, testing that out. This is actually #2 in the construction process, I think. I quilted it freehand on my longarm, using a new feather technique I read about (Hooked on Feathers, by Sally Terry). I love the way it turned out, and even the back is kind of cool. Definitely worth the long wait to get it quilted

Krista I love your quilt and I hope you do well with the pattern, but man that's a lot of diamonds and pointy pieces. Is it paper pieced? It reminds me of a song I wrote called "Bluer Than Blue".

I have been posting my finishes in pictures of all the things keeping me from working on my UFOs. Just finished an I Spy quilt except for pruning the threads off it. That gives me 2 to go out in tomorrow's mail. I am extra excited about this last one because I did free motion quilting for the first time and it came out great! Before this, I had only done it a little bit on one table runner. I used a random vine with heart shaped leaves coming off it. This was actually a design I drew first as a zentangle, then thought it would look neat as a quilt pattern. And it does!!!

Turned in 3 finishes at the charity quilt group gathering yesterday. Unfortunately, I only remembered to take pictures of 1 of them. Another was a a pink one identical and the third was a panel. You probably can't see from the picture, but there are little zoo animals in the blue print fabric.

Thanks! Yes, it's a ton of pointy pieces - I don't do simple The original pattern I did regular piecing, calculating each section as I went along to make sure everything fit. That didn't translate well to a pattern for sale, so the pattern is actually paper pieced. Hence the need to make a couple additional quilts, to make sure the paper patterns were correct.

Not being able to load a large quilt yet on the quilting table, I'm getting lots of the table runners and mats done. They have been in the "need to quilt" basket or needs binding and sewn for a long time. This is my finishes for the last week. Good thing I can hand sew binding and they are done.

The first 2 and a table topper were finished last week but I didn't post a pic, a neighbor already bought the table topper so I don't have a pic of it. That sampler was a block quilt a long the mamahauser did on facebook about a year and a half ago, just needed binding. The binding is what I fall behind on so it's has been good to get these done. Not suppose to lift or strain, as putting pressure on it, my hand yet but can exercise it...so this is my exercise.

Toot, Toot to Krista! The finished quilt is very sharp in blues and white and your quilting is lovely. Congratulations!
