I guess I need new glasses because I think your quilt is quite lovely!!! I think we are all so hard on ourselves when it comes to our quilts!! :-)

Honestly it will always look worse to your own critical eyes. Over time you will be very happy you went to the effort and now have a quilt. My friend once told me that we may as well practice FMQ on a quilt and have a finished product. That way we can look at each quilt as a learning piece and what stage we were at then. Really - you will come to love that camping quilt. Be very pleased you have learnt so much and have a beautiful quilt to show for it! We are too tough on ourselves. Be kind to yourself. Lots of people don't even attempt FMQ.

One of my quilting teachers always says if you can see that mistake from the back of a galloping horse, then there is a problem..... I think it is lovely.

Be thankful that the puckers are on the back. The front looks like a great scrappy to me.

Don't be so hard on yourself! It's your 2nd quilt! AND you did FMQ on it.

After it's washed you wouldn't even see them anymore.
Enjoy your quilt...you did a great job!!!

I think you did a good job
for a second quilt. I'm still
afraid to try quilting in any
form. I just tie. Hugs, Sharon

I love it. As one of my coworkers told me today when she was looking at a quilt I made for another coworker diagnosed with breast cancer, "We are our own worst critics." I tell myself that as long as I'm learning with each quilt I make then I am making progress. I think you're doing great.
