    very good point!!!!!
my DD lost two afghans i had made for her DH and son...
one was a football pattern (charted)... with a huge football in the middle on a grass green background... with the white lines up the side and goal points...
the other was royal blue, with all the colors on crayons in stripes, for her sons room...
they were moving quickly to a new home, and packed a lot of stuff in "garbare bags" out of necessity for speed... and yep, you guessed it... she was so angry with them... "her Mother, made them"....!!!! but hey, it was an honest mistake,,, and that boy is 22 now!!!! but YES,,, it can happen...

If you must put them in plastic, use clear so that you can see through it.

I do have one question: where do you get all your 30s fabrics? Have you collected them over time or just recently purchased them???

What is not to love. Beautifully pieced, appliqued, and put together, then a great job on the quilting. You gals amaze me.

That is a gorgeous quilt and your quilting enhances it so.

I hope you will remain without any more storms. It did scare me when you said put in garbage bags. I got some recycling bags at Walmart that are clear. I use them especially since they have handles on them to deliver quilts. There was almost a tragedy with the president's quilt of a group about 20 miles from me because it was put in a garbage bag. It did get taken by the husband and thrown in the trash at his work place. But luckily the wife called and asked if he saw a bag by the door and it was the garbage that was cleaner things not the oils and chemicals.

It stayed with me the whole time, after the destruction of that storm, trying to make sure it stayed dry if we got hit seems really silly now. They are finding peoples things in other states today!
