Let me know if you decide to do a retreat. I would definitely be interested.

Doesn't anyone else live in WI?
I do agree with LoriEl that I look at, and save, so many of your pictures that my actual time doing any sewing has dropped -can't help it -I've become addicted to pics.

I don't know many of the people on the board but I would love to get to know more quilters. WV in October, would the beautifull leaves still be on the trees? It sounds like so much fun.

I would love to organize a quilting retreat for those who are willing to travel to Rockport.
I'm in! I have been on their emailing list for a long time but haven't ever been to anything there. Looks great--glad to hear it is from someone who's been there. When you go to the spontaneity days, do you just go alone take your chances on other quilters attending?
From what I understand in emailing the owner, we take a chance. It just happens that there were be quilters there. For spontaneity days, the owner needs at least two people to register to open the retreat. I know that the house sleeps 16. There are 4 single beds in each of the rooms. Last time I was there, I did not get much sleep. lol.

I will get more information on putting a retreat together from the owner. I will definitely let you know how everything is progressing.

I was also thinking about that, I was thinking of getting together
with PA/ NJ people who would want to meet in Lancaster.
I would love to do something like that, AZ....I can't really travel
far unfortunately, but maybe you could get people to come...
I would if I could.

I would really love to have a "Quilting Board Retreat", such fun and what a great way to get acquainted. Could it be worked out so it would be as near to mid-country as possible making it about the same distance for everyone. Then we could perhaps get a list of all attending from our different areas and make arrangements to travel together and save on fuel costs. It would take a lot of planning but you could count me in.

I'd drive to the Houston area if y'all put one together! Actually, if I could get enough notice and get decent airfare, there aren't many places I wouldn't go. Italy, anyone???
