Don't worry about the mess. Do what you can when you feel better.
My dd comes to visit and I tell her if you don't like it, clean it.

It's not that bad. Just remember "If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what is the significance of a clean desk?"-Dr. Laurence J. Peter

Smile. and get better :)

I thought if I post here I may get some ideas!

Now does this make you feel better?!?! (And that's the cleaner part!)

I hope your knee heals quickly As for as what you call a mess -it ain't nothing but a thing- it'll be there when you are healed .Worrying and fretting will only slow down your healing process and healing is the most important thing

Hey...at least it's your sewing room and not your ENTIRE house like me!! I have a toddler and a husband and I am the only one that seems to clean this place. Taking into account that I am nine months pregnant...you can imagine what my house looks like. Yeah...I only wish my house looked as good as your sewing room!!
OH! And I am thrilled to see that you finished your "Ideas" quilt! I knew it would look fantastic in your sewing room!!!
:D

I love that I am not alone in my sewing room organization challenges! Regardless, I love being in my sewing room and I always manage to have the space I need when working on a project, and the happiness my projects give to the one receiving it makes me happy as well. My only advice is to set a goal of spending 15 per day in organization. Set a timer and do what you can in 15 min. The go back to the fun stuff! I bet you are surprised at how much gets done.
