I just started my vacation today. Co workers asked what I waas "doing" for vacation. I replied that I was locking myself in my sewing room. What better relaxation is there???

So happy for you. We all need to recharge. If we can do it with the ones we love all the better. BrendaK

Oh that is wonderful! To have the pleasure of doing what you love next to a mountain river sounds like a little bit of Heaven to me.

What a lovely way to unwind & relax - doing what you love to do! I am a bit jealous. Maybe you guys can make it an annual event!

My DH & I go to Albuquerque 4 times a year. After I finish hitting the fav quilt shops, I plug the sewing machine in & stitch, stitch, stitch. It's surprising how hotels have put furniture that can be used for sewing in the rooms now!!!

So happy you got away..
First of all, so glad you got to relax the RIGHT way, doing what you love most.

Second, I get to do that every day, as I live alone except for the dogs, but no view. Every couple weeks or so I do a quick clean in case someone should stop by which rarely happens.
