    I've used the yellow chalk too, but I used a fabric eraser to get it out prior to doing anything else. It took some rubbing, but eventually I got it all out. With all that's been posted here, I won't be using that marker again! Thanks for the heads up!!

    That is a very impressive quilt. Such incredible work! I am truly sorry this masterpiece as a chalk issue, as it just does not seem fair that after all that work ... to have the chalk leave a mark.... I would be beyond consolable.

    I took a toothbrush and warm soapy water and scrubbed around the stitches then I rinsed it in the washing machine. It faded it down so that I could barely tell.

    Absolutely gorgeous. I hope you can get the chalk off. May not be so noticeable on a bed.
