I love your quilt. It turned out great. I think we all tend to go with similar colors, because that is what we like. I try to pick colors out of my comfort zone sometimes, but I then go back to the ones I really like.

Green & turquoise. No, I'm not Aquarius, but love the tranquil feel of those colors. Love your purple quilt. I sneak cats into almost every quilt.

But I really like purple! At the same time, I did admire the choices around me. Maybe next time I will branch out and try a non-purple, but I doubt it....

Do you have a color that you just HAVE to use?

Oh, here is the top. I just finished it....and I REALLY like it. Can't go wrong with purple.

I'm with you, I love purple, although teal comes in a close second. I sometimes think people gravitate towards colors that they look good in, and I look good in teal and purple, but so do my quilts. I love your Trip around the World, lots of purple, but lots of nice contrast too.

I've seen contests at quilt shows that ask the visitors to pick a winner out of mini quilts and the one with purple always wins. You have a real winner there.

I like your quilt. The color you choose is totally up to you. I enjoyed seeing color combinations I would never make cause, never know when I might change me mind.

Well, it really wasn't any quicker. First you cut out 504 three inch squares, and then you sewed them into 9 patch blocks. Not one bit quicker, just different. Strips would have been my preferred choice...

Beautiful quilt, I would select red's and green's for myself. I use all colors for the grand-kid's
