My name is Chris and I'm a fabriholic. I do need help and have quit buying fabric for some time b/c the buying was out of control (for me.) No, I still paid the mortgage but some of the signs were there and I have a relatively large stash. Non-quilting friends are amazed at the amount of fabric I own. My program is just stay away from stores/shops and hopefully not run out of a needed thread anytime soon b/c I 'll be up the creek without a paddle if I have to go to a fabric store. Not much willpower in my bones right now. I do know I have a problem with buying fabric just for the feeling I get from buying it. Sorry if this post brings down a pretty fun thread but that's my truth.

Hahahaha... I laughed myself silly reading this one. Are you sure you weren't describing ME? (I didn't say that... I'll deny it till I die!).

And I've heard that fabric prices are about to go up very soon. Any excuse to buy more now, right?

My name is Linda and I'm a fabric addict too. I don't hide it. My husband just doesn't notice,I live in a little town and have to go at least 120 miles for a fabric store. But I do most of my fabric buying on-line. It is great and the shipping adds less than the cost of gas to go to the store.

I am so bad, that (today)on my to a funeral memorial service for a very dear uncle in southwest Michigan... I have to go right through Shipshewana,Indiana. And I am aching to find a way to get to that wonderful store on the lower level where ALL the fabrics are %5.95. I could leave in about 15 minutes and be there by 10:30 or chance it and try to make it after the services before the store closes.
Yes, (sigh) I am truly a fabricholic of the worst kind.
