I have my last quilt top laying on top of my longarm right now. In process of adding a border to the backing to make it about 3 in. larger than the top, then I'll load her up and go. I have material I just bought to make my other daughter a quilt so I'll start cutting the pieces out next.

I have alot of small projects started, like aprons already cut out, shorty pajama's for my granddaughter already cut out and loads of patterns for small projects that I haven't even took out of the package yet.

Now, my husband just asked me, when am I gonna make his 2 little grandson's a quilt? So, I am gonna squeeze them in, work a little on this one and piece our little angels one, just switch back and forth. If there was just a way to divide myself up or grow arms like an octopus, I dunno, I might would look a little funny. ;-)

I think I have more than five :)LOL! So, we are official, we quilt! Also, everytime I make a purse or something else, someone wants me to make them one too, or my MIL needs something mended. I need to learn to say "No" so that I can make a quilt and finish my little projects.:)

You are not alone. Everytime i buy new fabric, another project is born. That is why so many quilters have so many quilts to finish!!!

I so agree. These kids do not follow my quilting schedule.
Grandkids want a new quilt every few months. :-)

I hope that all the friends that are 'asking' for you to make things for them are AT THE VERY LEAST buying the fabric!

Asking a quilter to mend is like asking a chef to wash dishes.

If it's an illness I guess I have it. I have good intentions, get the fabric home and there it sits to eventually be mixed into my others and I tottaly forget what I had planned to make in the first place. I just found a book with a pattern that I had purchased at least 3 years ago and couldn't find and my quilting room is "fairly" organized. ;-)
