I love blocks with sashing in general. The purple really works!

Both are cute, but, since the colors are so bright, put together without sashing the blocks looks like one big splash of color and you lose the distinct star block. With that beautiful purple in-between the blocks, it gives your eyes a resting place and makes the stars just POP.

Love the colors, it will be beautiful when it is finished.

I like bothe but I really like the purple...it really brings out the colors....new in here...quilting since I was 7 years old....love any ideas you ladies may have new patterns and stencils for quilting .....I will have my daughter show me how to put my pictures on.....again, a beautiful baby quilt :-)
