I recognize the pattern!
And, I have presented many to very excited recipients - - very grateful recipients ... No one knows what you know about that quilt (as in the mechanics of the thing?) but they do know that you thought enough of them to make something special for them.
Be a joyful giver! and, giver yourself a pat on the back, PLUS!
Think of all you have learned! <wave>

Wow what a work of art! There are so many artist that struggle with what you have done. I just purchased a quilt done in this style. Hand quilted,$400. Remarkable quilt. I spent more time looking at your quilt than I do the "pattern" quilts. My first quilt was simular. And my kids argued over the thing. I finally had to store it away and told them when I die they could decide who gets it. If it were my quilt I would name it "The big fish" after a movie made a few years ago about a man who was a story teller, or so they thought. He just told stories in a way that made you think they were like the one that got away, but they were all true. I'm sure that your quilt has many wonderful stories behind each piece.
