This is the best place in the world and has restored my faith in mankind. I feel so blessed because of all of you.

This message board has helped a lot of us, from this board I found a new quilting buddy to quilt (we're sending fabrics back and forth), with. Everyone is VERY nice and always helpful. I love being around SO MANY kind and loving people. So I count myself VERY LUCKY!!!!

About 3 years ago, I went to visit my son and daughter in law in AZ. I'd contacted a quilter on sisterquilters, so she came to meet me, took me quilt shop hopping and out to lunch. The next time I went there, she came to visit. I went with my son and daugher in law on a cruise to Alaska and then spent a couple of days in Seattle after they returned home. One quilter drove 90 miles to come and see me, take me shopping and out to dinner. Another picked me up at my hotel, took me fabric shopping, out to lunch and to AMTRAK where she helped me to get all my "stuff" on the train. My son was a little afraid about leaving me in the care of strangers........strangers??? They were quilters - the best people in the world. I've kept in touch with all of them since then, too!!
