That is one beautiful quilt, girl! Must say you were a brave gal annoucing your goals--I would have been worried that I'd get side-tracked by something, like LIFE, and then felt like I'd failed. You've got quite a following here cheering you on and we all envy your "camping trip". Way to go!!!!

I am not a big fan of bargello. But, this quilt is going to be a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

I vote for no border & use the darkest red you have in the quilt already for the binding.

I wouldn't do a border either, but use a dark red binding. In your message I hear the fun you're having - Sweet!!!

The yellow square is like that because a light is shining through it. I love the look of this quilt very much.

I have the same pattern and have selected and purchased 20+ fabrics. I have really been afraid to start it because I have never done anything similar to it. Keep up the good work. You are inspiring me to give it a try
