    that is EXACLTY what I was going to say...I use the long flower head pins and doubt they would stay in this little cushion..but either way..without the cardboard behind it you run the risk of poking the pins straight through and scratching up the machine!

    and remember to NEVER use a magnet on your computerized machines!

    I would think plastic would work as well as cardboard or metal. However I have a small thumb pincushion and love it. Can place many many many pins on it. NOPE never poked myself. :)

    Good idea. I am going to make one...thinking maybe elastic with velcro on the 2 ends. I get so many ideas from reading these postings. Thanks, everyone.

    This make more sense than that You Tube thing. I think that thing would not only take up too much room in my sewing area but think of the time wasted in havng to re-fill it all the time.
