Eden to Paradise Lost - A Cautionary Tale of Woe

I agree with everyone who has responded thus far: It's beautiful (I LOVE pink and green combos) and it's what makes life interesting.
FYI, in my line of work, we make pdfs of what we create and find that the mistakes pop out like crazy!
In light of that, I think I'm going to photograph my tops before I layer and quilt them. I'm betting that photo on the computer screen will show where I goofed!

The quilt is beautiful and the mistakes don't show unless you really look for them. A couple of years ago I made an irish chain quilt for my daughter's wedding. There were two mistakes that I didn't find until it was quilted and I was putting the binding on it. Not much I could do about it at that point. My daughter and hubby have loved the quilt and I haven't thought much about the mistakes until a couple of weeks ago my grand daughters showed them to me. Oh well, the quilt has had much use and love and the mistake doesn't even matter to them.

I was substitute teaching almost every day and had nine quilting projects going at once, along with everything else. Probably because I was going so fast, and was so tired, I didn't see these very obvious mistakes until this was almost totally quilted. At first I cried, almost threw-up and put it in the closet. The other day I got it out and am finishing it. I will keep it and display it in a prominent place to remind me how even quilting, like life, isn't perfect. But it sure keeps me humble and honest!
