Back is finished...i decided before i quilt it, to clean it out..and was she ever dirty!
(the quilt is a mix of flannel and 100% cotton)

I made a quit for my granddaughter using a color scheme similar to yours. I paper pieced it using the attached pattern, but you can make any variant of the basic layout (and you would not have to paper piece, either). I made one central heart, and then just put on a piano key type border. Very simple - and you can enlarge the pattern to any size you like.

I really like the staggered sizing. It really looks great. I'm not quite as creative, so I really appreciate seeing others who can have such a visualization. Good for you for doing something nice for the little girl. We need more people like you in this world.
