I agree and I also always drink from the side of the glass that is closest to me. If you drink from the opposite side of the glass, you tend to spill a lot. . .

A lot of my medications say not to drink but 2 of my doctors suggested that I have 1 drink before bedtime to help me relax and go to sleep. I find this very relaxing makes me wAnt more but I know better so only have a wine cooler or mixed drink

Me also. lol. Accidentally, aspirated stuff into my nose and it wasn't pleasant -- coughing, choking, etc. I've thought of trying those pots where you suck liquid/warm water into the nose for sinus problems (what are they called-- neti or pootie pots ???or something like that) but haven't been brave enough to try.
I have sinus problems too. I tried the nettie pot and didn't like it, but the one that is a bottle with a nozzle on top (kinda like a nasal spray bottle only much bigger) works wonderfully and it really does clean out the sinus. I use it about once or twice a week and never have to use a nasal spray.

Chai Tea or coffee in the morning and sometimes before bedtime. Sweet tea or water during the day. In my young and foolish years either a Margarita or Gin and Tonic. I think I had a beer about 2 years ago (Corona) with some Mexican food...Sure is the pits to get old....LOL

I hardly drank at all when my children were growing up BAD EXAMPLE!!! I grew up w/ parents who drank and I always said that I would not do that to my children. However I do drink a whiskey & Diet Pepai now and then.

I don't drink alcohol. Back in younger years I did party a bit but I have seen the affects of alcoholism. My brother is a high functioning (gets up goes to work every day, great income, has nice wife that drinks also, etc) alcoholic but a alcoholic none the less and I hate him when he is drinking.

Dad was/is alcoholic (30 years sober), grandfather on both sides were but stopped drinking, etc...I really think alcohol is often talked about with laughter but for some it's no laughing matter.
