I am always looking for good quality thread and so many shops have very little of it and very few choices of colors. I love King Tut and Bottom Line from Superior threads - which is expensive though. I also like YLI and Aurifil.

It really depends on your area, but I would love to see brighter fabrics, not neon. As much as I love rich colors, all my quilts are dark. I'm tired of the darker fabrics. You can't find more than a handful of pastels and they are all too girly girly. I also make guy quilts and alas, not all guys are into hunting, fishing and other traditional sports or Nascar.

Every color of 'dimples' fabric...they blend with everything.

I am also a "magpie"...if it sparkles I love it (except Christmas fabric).

small floral prints in pinks, aqua and lime are great for "cottage" looking quilts

I plan to complete a few cottage-y quilts for gifts this year... they have a way of brightening up a room

I love the fabrics with coffee cups, etc on them. I want a purple blender fabric. LOVE the sock monkey fabrics too!

Gray's and lime green combinations are really hot right now. Designers like Ty Pennington, Joel Dewberry and Anna Marie Horner are really poplular now too.
