what a happy quilt, I love the butterfly you quilted in it, did you embroider the leaves and flowers?
No, I didn't do any embroidery. The flowers are some samples I made when a friend was teaching me english paper piece. They were just lying around, so I appliqued them on and then used a fancy quilting stitch on my machine to outling each section. The quilted butterflies around the botton was from a clipart I got on the computer. A little of this and a little of that!

Love the butterflies/flowers, not wild about the orange. Do you have an orange room?
No, no orange room. I just love bright colors. As a matter of fact, I like all colors, with reds, oranges, yellows and pinks being my favorites and used often in my clothing. I tell people "I like gaudy".

The quilt is beautiful. The orange and white made me think of a Dreamcicle like a Creamcicle--orange on the outside vanilla in the middle.
