Like Lisa_wanna_b_quilter, I too have dust balls everywhere because I would rather spend my time in the sewing room than do housework! I spend 3-4 hours average a day in the sewing room, some days more, some days less. :-D

if i cut down on checking in with you lovely ladies and guys, spent less time drooling and/or shopping for fabrics online and dreaming at blog sites, i could get a lot more done.......

I'm retired (over 8 years now) and sew most days from
1-4+ hours from about October through February in rainy Oregon. Rest of the year I'm busy working outside or in my woodworking shop. I will have made about 15 quilts this season with most given away as comfort quilts to homebound friends and nursing home residents.

It really depends on what I have going on. I am sewing more now, because I lost my job.

I get to sew almost every day. I use my machine on weekends and I hand quilt in the evenings after work durring the week. I always have a quilt on the frame and another one or more in the construction process.

not enough. Have problems with ocd-ish behaviors, this board being one of them, lol...but I go through modes.
Working on a more-sewing mode, more walking mode.
Obviously, can't work on those two at the same time...or can I?...uh, nope, sounds too ocd-ish!

I am so very lucky. I can sew just about whenever I want. I probably average a couple of hours a day so that might be 14 hours a week.
