That looks really interesting on how you are basting your quilt. could you please share how you do this with the plank you have in your quilt layers?
Hi Charlene,

If you go to the site: sharonschambernetwork.com you will find the information in the free class section. It's called Basting your quilt. It was very easy to do and the video provided on the site is very informative. Good Luck!

This quilt is a king size quilt. The pattern was from a book by Ricky Tims on Convergence quilts. It was not difficult to do at all. It also went together quicker than I thought. The basting part took me several hours over two days. I quilted it on my Janome 6600 with a large meandering stitch over the whole thing. I'm very happy with how it came out and it looks wonderful in my guest room.

What a beautiful quilt! Is it Ricky Timms' pattern?

This is one of the prettiest covergence quilts I have seen--I am partial to purple though. That's a neat idea with the boards. I rarely baste a quilt (have long arm) and getting so I hate the floor basting or trimming. Nice job.
