Had a great assortment of 2.5" brown pieces that asked to play with Kassandra's fabric. Hope you like it

Travelinggramma, that block is so pretty! It looks like windblown fall leaves.

SBG, my bubble suit and slipped a little in the heat and ended up around my legs I was able to keep my body up so only my hands and arm got bit. We need to find one of those chilling gel bubble suits for summer. It will help keep us cool and safe. LOL

It is so fun to see all the new blocks. I hope to start sewing again tomorrow. I love the pieced Santa. How cute! I have a thing for leaves. That leaf block is more on shape with the leaves being in browns. I adore the Dresden with the sugar skull in the middle. They are all so pretty!

Also I like hearing about the stories. Good block Libster. I have just unsewed a block and will see what I come up with and to determine if I need rescue fabric. I see blocks I want to do but know I need to wait until I am confident that I will be able to put it together well so maybe you will see some of these on my mind in the next boom.

i can relate to this. I’m still trying to find the sweet spot where what I want to make, and what I can make, meet.

[QUOTE=sewbizgirl;8088321]Hi MJP! Good to hear from you. Oh, I would die for that 'cat cutting sushi' fabric! Who is the manufacturer? Is that a Robert Kaufman? Enjoy your fun travels and especially the Sisters Quilt Show. Hope I can go some day....

For cheesehead too

Unfortunately I only bought a half a yard of the sushi cat fabric. While I could see the color coding on the side I couldn’t see any manufacturer. You could call Cool Cottons and order from them in Portland. The fabric was not cheap. The shop had a lot of fabulous fabric.

Terriamn and Kassaundra I look forward to a side swap with you in September or so. I can send the fabric out at the end of July if you like but I won’t be able to get to your block until September. . kassaundra, I told the shop owner about you and how you would love that fabric.

If anyone else wants to side swap, pm me.

We packed up the van and leave very early in the morning. I’ll send pictures of the sisters quilt show in 2 weeks.
