Have in it.

Besides having all the shelving I need to organize my fabric.

The most important item would be a cutting/ironing table at the perfect height - allowing me to not only cut out my blocks but to start sewing them on the same day - and of course have plenty of storage underneath it.

Bad backs are a bear when trying to sew quilts - I have to explain to mine all the time that it is hurting for a good cause.

Twice as big as it is now which isn't bad to start with.
More storage for fabrics, thread and other notions
more wall space for a design wall as well as where I hang my quilts and wall hangings on display,
a BIG cutting table,
bigger area ironing surface,
a serger, (as well as my sewing machine and longarm which is already there),
a TV,
better lighting,
and room for several other sewing machines so I could teach classes.

A person can dream ;)

someone to come in & clean up after me! I can clean mine & within one day it's back to looking like a disaster area! I think if I had it to do over again, I would have counters all around the room. That way I could have my machines sunk in & a place for them all, have all the storage underneath.....

Windows above all else, because I'd assume it would have tables, shelves, machines, storage, etc. But oooooh that natural light!!

Yes, I agree with windows! But I also get really envious of y'all who have a separate table for cutting, and another for sewing. I simply don't have that kind of space.

Tell me about it. My house is one junk pile after another. I am trying to clean out my youngest sons room to make into a sewing room. Yesterday, my husband told me that the he wants to put the Inveration Table into my soon to be cleaned sewing room - NOT A HAPPY CAMPER
