How did you get all those geese to fly in a circle? Did you paper piece them?

Everything is paper pieced. It was really easy! The quilt is 50" square, so the pieces are large - not teeny tiny. The pattern had the circling gees with it. It's all in the book, Mariner's Compass Quilts: Setting a New Course" by Judy Mathieson.

Those were small pieces (about 1 1/2 inch squares) but it was strip pieced so it isn't as hard as it looks. But I let people think I just cut each piece separately if that is what they want to believe. Aren't I awful?????? It is the first time I ever made a square quilt and now I"m wishing I'd added another row of blocks.
