Are you fed up with me yet? :mrgreen: :lol:

OK I put some black in the centre section and darkened up the purple parts - the aim is to integrate this section more with the overall design and get away from the blocky non flowing effect of the first version. I also quite like the 'floating' effect that the black gives, as if this is a Moorish fretwork panel? Fanciful ain't I? :lol:

Anyway, thoughts? Preferences? :-D

Thank you. I don't know, it's just fiddling about until I see something I like. :-D But these twisted log cabin blocks fascinate me. If you flip and rotate them you can get some great effects and then if you experiment with fabric placement rather than making the block symmetrical, you can create secondary designs across the quilt. It's fun, it's just like doodling but with quilt blocks. :-D
