I went to look at some machines that were listed including an industrial serger - which I left behind because it weighed a ton. I ended up getting a Singer Overlock new in the box for $100 - could have gotten it for a lot less if I went later in the day, but didn't want to take the chance. Another $50 got me all this thread, bobbins, venise trim, needles, seam binding, and two specialty feet - one for satin finish and one for beads. I would have liked to pay about half but still, I'm happy. Did I do OK? Got an old fashioned spool holder at another sale for $10

I'm looking forward to trying out those feet. Has anyone used them? I make veils and I think being able to add a string of pearls or crystals would be wonderful.

You did get a deal. The two feet form Creative Feet are $48. I just bought the Satinedge one and paid $26, but they are definitely useful, and worth it to me.
