I had a Husqvarna Viking Sewing/Embroidery machine that I updated to Husqvarna Topaz 2 for a bigger embroidery area. I use it to sew and embroider. I would highly recommend any Husqvarna machines

My machine is a Husqvarna made in 1966. It is still going strong. I would not trade it for any other. It is my workhorse, however it weighs a ton!!!

I love my Husqvarna/Viking. It is the quilters edition that came out in 2005. No problems what so ever. I have a date with her in about 20 minutes.

I have actually got much better trade-in deals from my Viking dealer. I ended up selling two of my Berninas privately because the trade-in I was offered by the dealers was so poor.

I sew on a Viking Sapphire and I love it. This is my second Viking. My first one is still going strong for my Mom. I kept the first one for my daughter to learn to sew, but she wanted to sew on the new one. My Mom needed a new sewing machine so I let her have mine. I was so glad I had it to give to her. That was worth far more than any trade in value I could have gotten. My Mom has done so much for me over the years, I was happy to be able to do something for her!

I purchased a Viking Designer Diamond last August and have been thrilled with it; so many things to do that it's mind boggling.

Right now the Diamonds are on sale because the Designer Diamond Deluxe it just hitting the stores. If you can justify spending the money, the Diamond would be incredible because of the discounts they are giving.

Let us know what you decide. Good luck.

I have a Viking Husqvarna Lily that I bought brand new in the late 1990's and after sewing for thousands of hours on it have never had a bit of trouble with it. I got an additional machine 2 years ago (Janome 6600) that seems like a stronger machine though time will tell if it's as dependable as my old Viking.
