I can't believe it was only seven days ago that I began this quilt, and the first two days were fabric selection. The top will be all done tonight! Thankfully, I choose to skip the border, that would have taken another two days to decide :)

I decided to use a red backing. I am still figuring that you can't have too much red. So the binding will be black. I choose a backing will a large print thinking that I can quilt on the back and follow the lines of the flowers or leaves, or something. I am going to try it tomorrow. If I can't do it I'll have no choice but the stipple it since that is all I have the ability to do. Any suggestions for the quilting will be appriciated. Keep in mind I can't make straight line look straight and I do not have a long arm quilter so I'll be using my regular machine with the free motion foot.

Thanks for all the kind words in my previous post :)

What I have so far.

Please don't understate your ability. Anyone who can put this together can do just about anything she wants. Love this quilt! Do post your completed work.

I am sooo jealous ! I love red, but all those little squares scare me. maybe some day I can make a bargello quilt, but I'm afraid it will be a while. I'm not to good with straight lines. Thank you for giving me a look / see at your beautiful quilt.
