Mena, Ar 'Just Machine Quilting' class starts July 21
#1
The following Community Service Class begins next week at Rich Mountain Community College in Mena, Arkansas:
Just Machine Quilting
This entry level, hands-on class focuses on the quilting process rather than patchwork. A domestic home sewing machine that sews a good straight stitch is all that is needed; long arms and computerized machines are not necessary. You will learn how to use all the presser feet used in machine quilting for both straight stitching as well as free motion work.
Space is limited, so stop by RMCC and sign up today. Classes begin Thursday July 21, 1 to 4 PM, and will run for 4 weeks. Cost of this class is only $20. This is a great opportunity for those wishing to learn machine quilting and wondering how to start. For more information, call Maureen Keese at the college: 479-394-7622 ext 1311.
