We gave up cable almost a year ago, and got Netflix.
We tend to binge on a series at a time, and our most recent has been Dr. Quinn. My girls control the remote, of course, but it's fun when they pause and say, "Mama, check out that quilt. It's a log cabin!" or a flower basket, or whatever, if they know it. If not they figure it out. There are so many very cool quilts on that show! In the homestead, at the clinic, in the folks' houses, on the picnica, even her mom's house in Boston... Too cool...

Yes, I enjoy seeing quilts in shows. Liftime movies are very good for that too. They might be hanging on a wall or something. I also like reading books like this. And my youngest daugter said, she does too.

The next time the show comes on, I will inspect. Never really paid any attention. Thanks for sharing.

Ny DH will pause the Western and call me in to see the quilt on the bed. It is fun figuring out the pattern.

I always look for patterns in the windows and on the floors and such when watching shows of any kind.

My DH was also someone who would point out quilts to me on westerns and other shows. He had even got on line and search stuff for me while I was working.
