Karen sent me this quilt...which happens to be a very special quilt for her because it is her first quilt...and also a birthday present for her DH. How great is that?

She sent me a picture a few months back..and booked a date...she also told me all the designs she loved...but let me have freedom to do as I wanted..I tried to incorporate all the designs she loved in a cohesive way...this is the finished quilt.

It was pieced well...I wouldn't have known it was a beginner!

The quilt is STUNNING! I am so glad to share this experience with her.

I quilted everything freehand on my INNOVA. I used Hobbs poly down batting.

Gorgeous quilt! As usual, the quilting is superb. I would be very proud if that were my first quilt!

Amazing design and colors! So vibrant! Quilting perfect as always, adding dimension, interest, balance, movement. Love the feathers and swirls. What a fabulous quilt!
