How much time a day do you spending quilting?

I am feeling a little overwhelmed with work and life right now and find that even if I put a few stitches in something, I feel so much better. How much time do you spend quilting in a day?

Not sure how many hours that I spend with quilting in a day, but I will say......I quilt whenever I can. I have an applique quilt going at all times. When I'm drinking my coffee in the mornings, watching the Today show, I'm stitching.

With me it's closer to 1-8 hours a WEEK. Sometimes I'll go a few weeks without doing anything at all in my sewing room.
I am: a business owner, separate full time job, wife, home owner, gardener (1/2 acre of beds + greenhouse), breeder/exhibitor of Champion dogs, writer (regular columnist), and lecturer (4-6 x per year).
I also have a hard time sitting still - high energy type (which is the reason my ironing board is on the opposite end of the room from my sewing machine!). I have to be busy.
8 hours of sewing in the same week would be a LOT for me. If I have a deadline though, I'll put in whatever hours it takes to finish it on time.

I am retired, I always have plans when I get up in the am, I will do some after breakfast, but, I am here on the board instead. I do a little bit here and there. Usually finish a 10 " strip log cabin block in 2 to 3 hours off and on
