Been working on this top today but now at a standstill....
I'm thinking of a turtle or snail in lower left corner - but do you think it needs anything else? or No?
I'm wondering about the top part. I don't want to overload it but just not sure..... need some input ladies....and gents!

Top measures 34x51 as is but will be adding a 6" border so
finished size will be approx. 46x63

The appliques are from a pattern called "Swirly Bird" by Linda M. Poole. I've altered it some. http://www.lindampoole.com/gallery-d...php?cat=0&ID=5

I love your applique---think it's great as is.... Add: I just looked at the pattern. You really made it yours. Great job.

very pretty. Is it a wall hanging, a baby size, a lap quilt, a twin, or what? Whether or not it needs more depends on what it is. I like just it like it is.

Currently it measures 34x51 but will be 46x63 when border is added

you might add a small bird, or more of the ivy at the top. or just leave it alone. but something is missing.

I like your bird even better! Perhaps a dragonfly?

well, that's what I'm thinking. I thought about another bird....maybe in flight
if I can draw one out well enough
