I received QuilterMomma's F8th with the beautiful block she sent me so I will make her block tomorrow. I am still missing F8s from 1000projects; Aully; Chgger Holler Quilter; girlscouts1; Havplenty.
I finally made it into town to the PO and mailed my first 15 blocks out....

Glad you liked my block for you sew1096 and Kris2011. I am excited to know when all of you have received your blocks from me. It was an adventure at the post office. Aully, your block is going out today. Husband home now from ankle surgery. It went well and he is feeling the pain.

Hi everyone,
Just popping in to see how you are all doing. I am so happy to see the progress you all are making.
have had quite the run from my husbands grandmother passing away to my mom being in the hospital to me going for surgery in January. I am ready for that silver lining now lol
I am not sure if I will be hosting the Boomerang swap after this one is done. I feel like I am loosing touch with you all because of life. I do not like to let anyone down and that is all I have done lately. I tried to help in another swap and have had the hardest time finding the rows and now the owner is upset (which I understand but I did not do this with the intention of this happening) Such is life I guess. Time for me to admit life has won out over my "upbeat" attitude.
Huge Hugs

Quilter momma, got your block in the mail today, it is so cute, will look so good in my quilt.
Well I had an exciting adventure today. I went to my quilting group, even though we have been getting snow and the roads are icy, I wanted to go as we were doing a little cristmas exchange...
So while I am there it starts snowing, I mean it was really coming down! So I decided to put on my chains and head home! My chains were in my MIL vehicle, so I had no chains! I was wondering what I was going to do, but thankfully our wonderful quilting leader and her husband gave me a ride home.
So tomorrow I head back up to her house (she is about 1,00 ft higher elevation than we are)with my Chains and hopefully it will be nice enough weather to get home. I love living up here in the mtns but some times the weather gets the better of me! I think the next thing we buy is going to be a 4 wheel drive for sure! It looks pretty promising to be a white Christmas this year!
