At a recent quilt retreat, there were 14 ladies present, we asked the same question. Grand total, not including LA machines, we had 90. :):):):)

I had a Designer 1 from 2000 and used until I won the Designer Diamond when they introduced it at the convention in 2008. I use it to embroidery and piece quilts. I have a Juki TL-98E on a Hinterberg frame for quilting. I am debating on getting another machine with more neck space but want to keep Juki for heavy duty sewing. It sews great.

I have two Pfaff's and love them both. One is a old Pfaff 1475CD and I just bought it and yet to learn all the things it can do.
Oh I also have a Featherweight my mom gave me but haven't taken it out of the case.

For all intents and purposes, I have one machine that I use. A Bernina 1008 Mechanical that I have converted to treadle. I have 2 more in storage if that one gives up the ghost or if I can no longer get parts. I also have a 221k Featherweight that sits there and looks pretty, and a Singer 404 Straight stitch, that I never use. So. The answer is, Bernina 1008 Treadle for every type of sewing I do. I love it. Here is a link to a picture if you have not seen it.

I have a Bernina 150, 2 Featherweights, a Singer 99, Baby lock serger and a Gammill Classic Plus. I told DH that I would stop 'collecting' babies when we adopted our 3rd child. Then I moved on to animals: we have 4 dogs and a 19 yr old cat. Now I have moved on to sewing machines. How do I tell him that along with all the above, I just bought a treadle??!! They were asking $20 and I thought it was a typo. I ended up giving them $40. Its still in my car...I'm trying to figure out how to get it in the house while he is on a trip! I think I better move on to something else now!! rotlf!
