I love her quilt patterns also...You gave me an idea..I made delectable mountains as a wall quilt, but now I think I`ll make a bed quilt after seeing yours... :thumbup: :thumbup:

One of my favorite books by her is "Still Stripping After 25 Years". There are soooo many patterns in that book and all of the patterns are for whatever size you would like to do from wall hangings to king size quilts. Your quilts are beautiful!!!!!!

P.S. This is an announcement I just recently read in one of the quilting magazines. Eleanor Burns will be inducted into the Quilter's Hall of Fame in July 2012. I have to admit I did not even know there was such a Quilter's Hall of Fame. But it is interesting to see everyone listed which started in 1990.

Thanks so much for showing your quilts! I am also a fan and have severeal books by her. You made me remember that the first quilt I made was Elenor Burns Double Irish Chain. It was a baby quilt. Seems like yesterday but that grand child is now 18 or is it 19? Jeeze am I getting old or what!!!

EB was teh one I started watching eeons ago and got me started in quilting. Would love to meet her in person and take a class.

I also love Eleanor Burns.. her energy is INFECTIOUS! I love how she shares her family history with such love too. She's a grand gal for sure!
