I know that I have always responded to new quilters by telling them to try Eleanor Burns patterns. I just thought I would share some of the ones I have made.

1st Pic: A Delectable Mountain. I made this for my DSD and my My DH decided he wanted one to for our bed. He told me he wanted a yellow one. No not yellow! So we decided I could place scrap pieces of Burgundy on it.

2nd Pic: A Trip Around the World. It was my DD's MIL's birthday. Hard to buy for a gift for a person who has everything you could dream of in her house EXCEPT she didn't have a quilt. Made this throw for her!

3rd Pic: Lover's Knot... Made one for my DD which I don't have a pic of but my DM wanted another quilt so I made one for her birthday.

Beautiful, and I would LOVE to have that Buffalo head board. I have never seen anything like it.

I love them too -- she does a good job in her instructions. I like that at the end of each step she usually puts in -- Your piece should measure .......

I agree completely her books and instructions are the best for the beginner , or those of us who just want a "no fuss" project.
