E. Burns is the one that got me into quilting..
I started watching her on PBS when she started some 25 or more yrs ago.....
You are so lucky to meet her....

The Bed was custom made. We had a custom fence & gate made to surround our 2/75 acres by a guy in a small town close by. I don't like coyotes or rabbits. They were destroying my yard. When I went to his office, he had pictures of this bed and a couple of other ones. He did beds and wall hangings while he was starting his fence building business. I had to beg him to get him to do one for me (since he is not in the bed business anymore). I love it! DH & I are very pleased!

Thanks so much girls! I have to say that I have almost every one of her books or I have the DVD to the book. I go every year to Houston (hometown for me) to the Quilt show. She is always there signing her books when you purchase them! Of course I have her sign books for me and I get a picture with her every year. The one I have displayed is from 2008.
Her books are great to get started on. Our local junior college had a quilting class every semester and the teacher loved her. When I started taking classes, I was truly a beginner. I was afraid to cut fabric! That is until the teacher introduced me to Eleanor Burns on my second class!! In the first 3 years of classes, we did 5/6 of her quilts!!

Wow, I agree with you about EB's quilts. I love them also. I've made Trip Around The World and Lover's Knots. I really love your colors in the Lover's Knots, and all the quilts are beautiful.
