Not ready to breathe a sigh of relief yet. Following Billy's instructions, I disassembled my vintage machine... cleaned, cleaned and cleaned again all the parts, including all the screws. Polished, polished and polished again all the parts, including all the screws. Will let all pieces "cure" for lack of a better word... and will attempt to reassemble tomorrow. Am I a tad nervous???? You bet! But, I know if I need help... I can find it here.

WISH ME LUCK...
I'll post before and after pics once she's all back in once piece!

I thought there were pictures to see too. Now I'll probably stay awake all night wondering what the machine looks like - :)

Was it pretty rusted out? Muv also has a video for cleaning up your vintage machine. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-155695-1.htm At the top of her video there is a button you can push and you can see all 9 of her videos. These are very well done and don't require total dis-assembly.
