Thanks to all who gave me suggestions on quilting my OBW. I did SITD for the hexagons and quilted apples and vines w/leaves around the border. If you look closely, you can see that the corner apples have "bites" taken out of them. I quilted this on my Janome 6600P.

First pik is the front of the quilt, second is the back (hard to see the quilting with the black fabric), third is a close up of the quilting in the borders (don't look too closely!), and the final pik is the gr8 label that sewnsewer2 made for me. It's kinda hard to see, but it is a cute yellow worm coming out of a green apple--Dawn makes such fabulous labels!!!

This is stunning and fabulous. I absolutely love apples and this is an incredible use of apple fabric. So out of my league (smile). Thank you for sharing.

Great! Love the quilting. The apples with bites out are really a neat idea.
